Primark Launches Spring 2016 – and I hotfooted it up there to check it out.

There are skid marks in my driveway. Seriously. Such was the excitement and anticipation this morning of a day out ON MY OWN!!! Don’t get me wrong – I ADORE my kids. But it is completely awesome  nice to get away on your own and pretend to part of the general human race for a few hours from time to time. The reintegration to normal society took a while (walking into a revolving door, losing my car in the car park & having to persuade security in the Penney’s Head Office that I have actually been out on my own before) but I got there…… and back in one piece.

And oh what fun I had.

So as I type this listening to the rain beating against the windows and the wind threatening to lift our trampoline straight over the wall and into the neighbours kitchen, I can only but dream of the summer day’s ahead and getting my hands on some of Penney’s Spring Collection.

What with rails full of gorgeous, affordable & fun clothes inspired by the easy, breezy summer days of the 70’s in California, combined with the breezy bohemian influences of nudes, soft pinks and bleached out whites, I was in heaven.

The staples were not forgotten with but my favourite was the Moroccan inspired festival influences evident – let’s not pretend that we don’t want to be Kate Moss……still. A girl can but try!!!

I was hugely impressed with the kids rail also. I think the Penney’s/Primark range has really improved in the last couple of seasons in this department. They boys stuff I always preferred to the girls…..but this new collection has some really really cute pieces for all those teensy tiny versions of us out there.

Isn’t this stuff really cute? And who cares if they wreck it?!

And try I will! I have my eye on a few pieces and will certainly be keeping an eye on my local Penney’s/Primark after Christmas. Hopefully you will see something you like in here too – I suspect there is something for everyone in this collection.

I did wonder if I was taking photo’s of prop’s at one stage… I asked and was so pleased to learn that the homewares section has some really fab additions for next year too. And 3rd born can smash it all to pieces and whereas I’ll be upset…… the bank will not be broken!

Yours, recovering from her day in society,

Cli xx

A few pieces there I’d like myself! How nice to be invited.

You need to get out more often – and not be the woman who walked into doors – lol 😉
    Nicely written.
